HIS WORLD,
HIS TRAGIC LIFE, HIS BOOKS, HIS ART...AND HIS MASTERPIECES.
"Maximillien de Lafayette lived in a magical world of arts, music, travel, adventures, drama filled with superstars, composers, singers, painters, authors, adventurers, newsmakers and starving artists, celebrities, characters and people you hear about, you read about but you could not meet. He mingled with celebrities, controversial figures, fascinating and legendary people, leaders, hustlers, preachers, sinners, cabaret owners and homeless shelters keepers, philanthropists and soldiers of fortune, achievers and big time trouble makers. They became part of his life and his lifestyle, writings and delightful madness. And de Lafayette -a son tour- became part of their world...He produced more than 2,000 paintings, authored 127 books, dictionaries and encyclopedia and wrote 20,000 articles, and threw everything away! What a waste!" By Mordecai Bin Zvi.
Explore his books. He wrote 127 books, 8 encyclopedias, and 6 musicals. Have a glance!

"De
Lafayette was the
last hurrah of the greatest Neo Cubism Pioneer of our generation..."
Dr. John Chen, Laureate of the United
Nations/UNESCO, and
Former Member of The
White House Presidential
" His disdain for the vanity and shallowness of contemporary modern art put an end to his genius and astonishing career...and his self-imposed exile deprived the world of art from further masterpieces. Pity, de La Croix de Lafayette vanished in the abyss of his intoxicating and sublime art...An art he loved more than his very existence...an art that killed him. Perhaps, should I say, a magnificent art, de La Croix killed; a destructive act, I will never forget and forgive...", Dr. Etienne Leroux, Paris, 1985.

MAXIMILLIEN DE LAFAYETTE'S ARTICLE ABOUT PEOPLE, BIG AND SMALL PEOPLE HE LOVED...
And de Lafayette -a son tour- became part of their world. .." Mordecai Bin Zvi.
When de Lafayette talks or writes about you, your art, your books, your talents and the "things" you do best, only words of kindness, love and appreciation come out of his mouth and pen. He never criticized or ridiculed anybody. The majority of powerful critics and pompous journalists do that. De Lafayette was humble despite the enormous power he had. His columns were read by more than 4 million readers every single month. Such journalistic power corrupts the best of us. But, Maximillien de Lafayette used his pen to help and promote people. Perhaps once or twice -in his 20 year career as critic, historian and syndicated journalist- he wrote a sharp review about a decadent art show in London and two art exhibitions in New York city. De Lafayette wrote approximately 20,000 articles in so many fields, 40 of them, ranging from religion, fashion and cosmology to theater, magic, war and injustice. It would be impossible for me to list all his articles. I have so many favorites. Articles he wrote about wonderful artists and performers who passed away and wanted so bad to immortalize their names. And he did it brilliantly with grace, elegance, eloquence and affection. I love to share with you some of his writings. I will bring to you the beginning of some selected articles and simultaneously refer you to the corresponding links.
